Verve is a vibrant, mixed-use student housing community in West Lafayette, Indiana, including 235 units with 751 beds. Located less than a quarter mile from Purdue University on a 1.65-acre site, the building features two private courtyards, street-level retail, and a dynamic double-height lobby. The building’s architectural concept creates the appearance of two buildings abutting one another at the corner of E. Wood and S. Chauncey Streets. The Wood Street Building is a dynamic composition of interlocking forms juxtaposed with the more static arrangement of the Chauncey Street Building.

The 7-story structure is comprised of 5 levels of wood frame construction over 2 levels of concrete construction including residential, retail, restaurant, and parking. The total building area is 401,780 gsf and includes 308,351 sf of residential, 5,368 sf of retail, and 88,655 sf of parking. Residential unit types include studios, 2BR, 3BR, and 4BR. The common areas are located on levels 1 and 2, with a two-story lobby and mail area, leasing office, and market café leading to a monumental stair connecting to amenity spaces including a club room, fitness center, study rooms, and two exterior courtyards and pool.
