It was an honor attending the groundbreaking ceremony for Union on Knox, the 788-bed mixed-use student housing development at University of Maryland. Speaking at the ceremony were Ken Ulman of Terrapin Development Company, Greystar's John Clarkson, and University of Maryland President Darryll Pines.
Union on Knox is a mixed-use student housing community totaling 532,300-sf. The site includes ten above grade levels and two below grade levels with 340 apartment units comprised of 4-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 1-bedroom and studio unit types; 24,000-sf of retail; and a 132,250-sf, 2-level parking structure with 331 spaces.
