Modera Tampa is a mixed-use development located in the River Arts District of Tampa, Florida. The project site occupies approximately 2.2 acres and is adjacent to the Straz Center for the Performing Arts and John F. Germany Public Library, near the City’s popular Riverwalk. The project’s program includes approximately 13,000 sf of ground floor retail and approximately 353 apartments. The design is based on a mix of concrete and wood-frame construction. Structured parking is provided for approximately 600 vehicles.
The project’s design is organized around an existing office building and a historic, monumental oak tree which also serves as the focal point of an open urban park. Modera Tampa is designed to create a defined urban edge along North Ashley Drive, presenting geometrically playful forms and patterns along West Fortune, West Tyler and North MacInnes.
