Placed at the intersection of Cityplace West and Oak Grove in Uptown Dallas, the 150-room boutique hotel will be the hospitality highlight of the master planned mixed-use luxury retail and residential development of West Village. The hotel portion of the mixed-use project was designed by WDG, in partnership with Cityplace Company and Javelin Group. The project will act as a transitional step from the much larger residential towers of West Village down to the comfortable street scale that makes West Village successful. The location will allow easy access to Dallas’ iconic bars, restaurants, retail, and the McKinney Avenue Street Car will run directly out front.
The hotel, the first in West Village, will feature a restaurant and a rooftop bar, serving local, healthful cuisine with evening wine and beer tastings. The rooftop and rooms will offer views of downtown Dallas while preserving the feel of a pedestrian oriented street. The design was intended to be modern and urban with playful gestures. The parking garage portion of the hotel will be clad with the same glass, limestone, and metal as the hotel keys to create a cohesive singular design language.
