Capital Automotive Real Estate Services, Inc. (CARS), one of the largest land owners adjacent to the Spring Hill Station Metro, commissioned WDG to develop a master plan for their 15-acre site located in the new Tysons TOD district. WDG was responsible for developing a master plan sensitive to the existing land use; existing Fairfax County right-of-way that is running through the development, a new Dominion substation that will be serving the Tysons area; and an active recreational facility and reserve protected area (RFA). Given the challenges in hand, we are successful in incorporating these criteria with 4.5 million-sf new mixed-use development. This new development consists of 2.1 million-sf office, 2 million-sf multifamily residential, 215,000-sf retail, and 200,000-sf hospitality.
